About The Owner Hello, my name is Dan Pater. At the age of 16, I painted my first car and haven’t looked back since. I started doing bodywork and paint on friend’s cars. After cruising and racing around on the local streets, I decided to go drag racing in my 1973 Plymouth Duster. My fabrication skills were reinforced while installing the roll cage and sub frame connectors. After my car was completed and racing, I was installing more roll cages, frame connectors, and wheel tubs in other cars on the street and strip. All the while I was still repainting and restoring muscle cars, my projects were getting larger and more complicated. Due to the vehicles condition and low part availability for old Mopar's, my metal skills were forced to grow from panel replacement and body filler to fabricating my own panels and re-leading the old factory seams. As my pursuit for perfection grew, so did the importance for butt-welding all sheet metal with the T.I.G. welding process and then metal finishing out the new area. All of my work looks good in bare metal. Repairs are not buried in plastic body filler just waiting to cause problems down the road.

You can feel confident when you take your muscle car on a road trip because I know your drive train and electrical system inside and out. I have thoroughly rebuilt them whether they had 10 thousand miles and was under warranty or 200,000 miles and just plain worn out.
